At Ecommerce Sales Partners it’s our mission to help brands seamlessly adapt their distribution strategy to meet consumers where they shop, with a focus on online distribution. ECommerce Sales Partners, Inc. (ESP) was founded in 2018, providing sales agency and new business development services for home furnishings suppliers focused on the ecommerce distribution channel. ESP founding represented a transition to a new, more focused identity for Strategic Marketing Solutions (SMS), a sales agency and management consulting firm founded by Ron Carpenter in 2008 firm based in Greensboro, NC. SMS served manufacturers, retailers, and suppliers in the home furnishings industry, providing ECommerce Channel Development and Management, New Business Development, Strategic Market Analysis, and Consulting Services. SMS represented Palliser Furniture, ART Furniture, Casana Furniture, CR Plastic Products, and Kalora Interiors in marketing their products to the pure play ECommerce channel. It provided management consulting services for Broyhill Furniture, ART Furniture, the NHFA, Samuel Lawrence Hospitality and Custom Decorators, Inc.


Ron Carpenter


Ron Carpenter is a Principal of eCommerce Sales Partners. Prior to founding ESP, Ron was the president of Strategic Marketing Solutions.  He previously served as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Magnussen Home Furnishings, an importer and distributor of occasional tables and casegoods.  He has also held positions as Director of Furniture Industry Services at BDO Seidman, LLP; Vice President – Marketing & Business Development for Lea Industries; and Principal with MM&C, a marketing and design consultancy.

Ron holds a MBA from The Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and graduated with high honors from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. Degree in Economics. He resides in Greensboro, NC with his wife, Susan.

Will Carpenter


Will is a Principal and at eCommerce Sales Partners.  Prior to joining ESP, he worked at Lidl US as a Business Systems Analyst responsible for managing the implementation of its Customer Loyalty and Business Intelligence databases for the US launch.  Before Lidl, Will was a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton’s Federal Government consulting practice, where his service profile including Business Process Re-engineering/Process Improvement, Requirements Gathering and Analysis, Data Analysis, Systems Testing Support, Business Development, and Project Management for large scale system implementations for the Federal Government.

Will graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2013 with a BS in Business Administration and Economics.  In his free time, Will enjoys Cycling, Playing Basketball and attending live concerts.
